IGS has years of experience in the design, administration and operation of golf tournaments:

  • Local, club, and corporate events.
  • State events with state golf association.
  • National events.

IGS provides a variety of golf tournament services:

  • Design of database, player information and event format
  • Processing of players, names & addresses, entry fees, mailings, etc.
  • Sponsor(s) and prizes.
  • Various formats: stroke play, match play, 2-ball, 4-ball, Chicago, better-ball, modified Stableford, etc.
  • Flighting and pairing of players, handicapping, Callaway, shotgun starts / tee times.
  • Score cards, cart cards, labels, player listings, leader boards
  • Processing of scores, gross/net results, statistical analysis.
  • Follow-up mailings with results, surveys, etc.

DuPont World Amateur Handicap Championship - Myrtle Beach, SC

The world's largest golf tournament? Shotgun start on 55 courses at the same time?

Yes. Ask any one of the 4,000 - 5,000 golfers who play in the week-long event.  Players from all 50 states and 30-40  foreign countries.  The 2003 event marked the 20th anniversary - it was great!!  IGS has provided the computer services for Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday since 1985.


Pacific Amateur Golf Classic - Bend, OR

The eighth annual event will be held in Oct. 2004, hosted by 7 top resort courses, with over 600 amateur players in the 4-day event.  45 qualifiers competed for the championship at the Crosswater golf resort in Sunriver, OR.


Mesquite Amateur - Mesquite, NV

The second annual event was held in May 2003, hosted by 5 top resort courses, with over 580 amateur players in the 4-day event.  Qualifiers competed for the championship at the Casa Blanca golf resort in Mesquite, NV.


Golf Magazine Amateur Challenge - Myrtle Beach, SC

A four-day event held in November, 1994, with the 40 top players from a field of 310 qualifying to play in the Golf Magazine Senior Tour Championship Pro-Am as part of the Energizer PGA Senior tour stop.
